A Paddle to Honor and Support Our Four-Legged Friends
Introduced in 2018, the Seacoast Paddle for the Pups event is our annual fundraising paddle that we co-host with the New Hampshire SPCA.
Initially created as a way to honor the loss of our founder’s pup, Stella, this event has grown to become the biggest puppy paddles in New England.
Originally held at Phillips Exeter Academy’s William G. Saltonstall Boathouse in Exeter, NH, the event was moved in 2023 to Portsmouth, NH, and is now hosted in partnership with Seven Rivers Paddling on Sagamore Creek.
Need Some Tips?
Taking your dog out stand-up paddle boarding with you can be an awesome outdoor adventure for both you and your pup.
The trick to making it a fun and rewarding experience is to train your dog well before he or she ever gets on the water. In this video, our friends from Vermont Paddle Pups guide us through the important first steps of paddling with our pups.
