The Cape Neddick Lighthouse, also known as the Nubble Lighthouse, is one of Maine’s most popular tourist attractions and one of our favorite paddles of the year. Our paddle out to the “Nubs” can be challenging, so participants should be comfortable navigating some swell and current.
Paddlers should arrive at least 30 minutes before our designated paddle time to ensure they have enough time to find parking, unload their gear, and be in the right headspace to paddle.
Parking Situation
The paddle will depart from Short Sands Beach, so parking in the Short Sands parking lot is the easiest option, but depending on the time of year, it can be challenging.
