The New Hampshire Coastal Cleanup is held in September and October in conjunction with the Ocean Conservancy’s International Coastal Cleanup (ICC).
To support this initiative, the Seacoast Paddleaboard Club has teamed up with the Blue Ocean Society for Marine Conservation to host a special beach cleanup on Saturday, September 29, at Pirate’s Cove Beach in Rye.
This event is open to the public, so please join us!
Unless otherwise posted on our Facebook page, our cleanup crews meet at the entrance to Pirates Cove Beach at 10:00 a.m. for a short introduction about marine debris and why it’s important that we gather this beach debris data. Our beach cleanups typically last between an hour and 1.5 hours.
